Certified Energy Healer, Reiki, ICT ™ and Qigong
Randa is a certified practitioner in several modalities of Energy Medicine and is passionate about helping others. Energy medicine is used to assist in healing all forms of physical, mental and emotional ailments, as the underlying principal is the same. Energy imbalances cause illness; remove the imbalance and you remove the cause of the illness. These techniques are used to help heal and prevent issues such as anxiety, pain, trauma, digestive issues, addictions, reproductive issues, sleep disorders, joint issues, chronic conditions, and disease.
Randa’s journey to holistic health and wellness began over 20 years ago, seeking out help with a series of physical and emotional issues. Most treatments focused on the symptoms and relief was only temporary. Through the study of energy medicine, the focus shifted to the underlying cause of the symptoms, and she has been able to heal herself, and guide others along their healing path.
Randa is trained in Integrative Chakra Therapy (TM), Reiki, Qigong and Crystal Therapy. These gentle, yet powerful, techniques are used to activate the natural healing processes in the body. She then puts the power back into your own hands by teaching you to maintain your own energy balance. She also offers weekly Qigong classes at the Golden Lotus Yoga Studio.
Mark grew up in Nova Scotia, and graduated as an Electrical Engineer in 2001, but with a history of back pain and bulging discs Mark spent much of his free time researching back pain and seeking help from various specialists. It wasn't until he met a Manual Osteopath that Mark started to address the root cause of what was happening to his body.
This meeting inspired Mark to become a Manual Osteopath himself, in hopes of helping others with similarly 'unexplained' pain and problems. In July 2015, Mark graduated from the National Academy of Osteopathy, in Toronto, ON, moved back to Golden, and began practicing in Golden and Invermere.
Mark enjoys working one-on-one with clients and is driven to fully understand what is happening in each person's body. By understanding people in a holistic way, Mark can use manual osteopathy as a catalyst for healing; helping clients to overcome their body's problems and enabling them to get what they want out of life.
